Welcome to BDPS SOURDOUGH BY CHRISTA LEE. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Cottage Food Operation Notice

All products are produced at a private residence that is exempt from state licensing and inspection. Our kitchen is not subject to Florida’s food safety regulations for commercial establishments. We maintain high standards of cleanliness, but by purchasing, you acknowledge the nature of a cottage food operation.

2. Ordering and Payment

  • Payment: Full payment is required at the time of ordering to secure your bake date.

  • Cancellations: Because sourdough is a multi-day process involving live cultures, cancellations made less than [48/72] hours before the scheduled pickup/delivery are non-refundable.

3. Florida Sales Restrictions

In compliance with Florida Statute 500.80, please note:

  • We only sell directly to the end consumer.

  • Products cannot be sold wholesale or for resale.

  • We only sell and deliver within the state of Florida. We do not ship products out of state.

  • “Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida’s food safety regulations”

4. Pickup and Delivery

  • Freshness: Sourdough is a perishable, artisanal product. We are not responsible for the quality of the bread if it is not picked up at the agreed-upon time.

  • Risk of Loss: Once the product has been picked up or delivered, the risk of loss or damage passes to the customer.

5. Allergens and Food Safety

  • Allergen Warning: Our products are made in a kitchen that may also process common allergens including gluten, wheat, nuts, soy, dairy, and eggs.

  • Labels: All products will arrive with a label listing ingredients and the specific Florida-mandated cottage food disclaimer. Please read all labels carefully before consumption.

6. Product Variations

As an artisanal, small-batch bakery, you acknowledge that every loaf is unique. Variations in "ear" size, crust color (blistering), and crumb structure are natural and do not constitute a defective product.

7. Limitation of Liability

BDPS SOURDOUGH BY CHRISTA LEE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the consumption of our products or the use of our website. Our maximum liability to you shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Volusia and PutnamCounty.
